Bonsoir,
Je sollicite de l'aide pour interpréter les sorties ci-dessous de testdisk (cf. http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/TestDisk), et pour agir judicieusement ensuite (toujours grace à testdisk)
Testdisk dit qu'il y aurait une erreur dans le nombre de heads/cylinder (16 au lieu de 255), mais est-ce bien tout ? Or c'est bizarre : selon ce qui est écrit sur le disque, il y aurait plutot 1024 cylindres par tete ! De plus, il y a CHS/LBA que je ne comprends pas.

Autres informations :
* Sur le disque lui-meme, il est écrit 16383 CYL, 16 HEADs. Soit presque 1024 CYL/HEAD, et non 255 tetes/cylindre !
* Il s'agit d'une partition (/dev/hda) sur laquelle Windows ne démarre pas après l'écran bleu (pas de démarrage non plus en mode sans échec, la seule différence est que ça arrive alors à la saisie du mot de passe). Certe Mandriva 2006 démarre, permet de rapatrier les fichiers courts de la partition Windows, mais se fige définitivement après le début de rapatriement d'une dizaine de M.

Désarroi profond envers testdisk
Bonjour,
Après avoir changé de disque dur : toujours le meme phénomène ! J'ai fini par comprendre que c'était une barette mémoire qui était HS.
Et maintenant, testdisk ? Alors que le PC marche parfaitement, il annonce toujours les memes erreurs...
Donc, effectivement, testdisk pas glop, pas glop... Ce qui n'empeche pas son auteur, apparemment, de solliciter des fonds sur le site. Je m'étais promis d'en envoyer si ça me réglait mon problème, et meme peut-etre de solliciter une expertise payante...
