A message mourning the loss of Manuel Estrada Sainz and Andrés García appeared on the Debian News Channel mailing list this morning.
According to the posting, they were killed in an automobile accident while returning from the Free Software conference held at Valencia, Spain.
Martin Schulze -- Joey to the Debian community -- noted in the message that "The contributions of both Manuel and Andrés will not be forgotten, and other developers will continue their work."

(P. Desproges)
