Hello Guys, I've newly installed Arch Linux on my laptop and wanted to install ADB so that I can carry out various rooting activities and development processes. ADB's full form is Android Debug Bridge and it is useful for establishing a connection between an Android Device and computer so that development process can be done easily.
But I'm having trouble regarding installing ADB onto Arch Linux. I followed a guide and entered all the commands as specified but when I type this command: sudo apt-get install android-tools-adb android-tools-fastboot it is unable to parse/fetch and install the package on machine and simply says 'unable to fetch resource', my internet connection is about 89mpbs and don't think it is an issue regarding the internet connection. So how can I resolve this issue? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Linux Distro: Arch Linux
Current Release: 2016.04.01

    Hello,

the tutorial you are followwing deals with installation on Ubuntu while you are using Arch. It is a different Linux distribution (pre packaged set of software). apt-get is Debian/Ubuntu specific tool to fetch packages.
There seem to be packages for Arch according to the wiki https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/android . android-tools seem to be the package you are looking for.
