One thing worth mentioning has nothing to do with this particular release, but came up this week as part of an unrelated thread: it would be good if people who create patches would try to acknowledge the person who reported the issue that caused the patch. We have a fair number of "Reported-by:" taglines in our logs, but we really almost certainly should have many more of those. Remembering to give appropriate credit to all the people who do testing or otherwise notice problems would be a great thing. Sometimes the fix is trivial, and the real work was in noticing and figuring out that a problem exists in the first place, and reporting it.
