Ce test a été fait sur de nombreuses machines (étant donné que j'ai de nombreuses stations de travail qui ont tourné sur Dapper depuis les versions béta) et différentes architectures (principalement i386 et amd64).
Pour rappel, cette dernière version se distingue par l'ajout de GNOME 2.14, Xorg 7.0, OpenOffice.org 2.0.2, noyau 2.6.15 avec de nombreux patches et détection automatique de matériel via udevplug. Le LiveCD (version station) propose un installateur en quelques étapes pour simplifier l'installation pour les débutants.
En définitive, il s'agit d'une bonne version qui comporte quelques problèmes mineurs et propose une alternative récente aux distributions comme SuSE ou Mandriva. Elle comporte également (pour le moment) une prise en charge un peu plus complète au niveau matériel que Debian (unstable).
