Forum Linux.mandriva ou est le noyau ???

salut tout le monde j'ai installer mandrake 10.1 il y a 3 jours et depuis je cherche desesperement comment installer le driver de ma carte réseau !
en effet j'ai le driver et d'après ce que j'ai compris il faut faire quelque chose dans le dossier /usr/src/linux mais je n'ai pas ce dossier !!! je n'ai que un dossier /usr/src/RPM/RPMS dans lequel il y a plusieurs autre dossier du type ; i586, i686 etc... alors je suis bloquez et je ne sais plus quoi faire ! merci de vos réponses !!!

A. Environment


    - Our software environment of system as below:


        OS: Linux kernel 2.4.19-16mdk on an i686


        Distribution: Mandrake 9


        PCMCIA support: pcmcia-cs-3.2.0-3mdk





B. Environment setup


    - Linux kernel source:


        In order for the applications to run you have to 


        enable CONFIG_NET_RADIO in the kernel.


    


        1. In /usr/src/linux (or linux-2.4.19-16mdk)


           # make menuconfig


              Select Network Device Support


                    |--->Wireless LAN (non-hamradio)


                         |--->Wireless LAN (non-hamradio)


        2. # make dep


    


    - pcmcia-cs:


        You should install the kernel-pcmcia-cs source in 


        your system.





        1. Unpackage the source package in the path


           /usr/src/redhat/SOURCES/


           # tar zxvf kernel-pcmcia-cs-x.x.xx.tar.gz





        2. In folder(kernel-pcmcia-cs-x.x.xx) run


           # make clean


           # make config(answer the question)


           # make all


           # make install


          


C. Installation Procedure


    - Unpack the CNWLC-811-OEM-AR-PCM-LMP-V1.00.tgz package (anywhere


      you like).


        # tar xzvf CNWLC-811-OEM-AR-PCM-LMP-V1.00.tgz





    - In the setup directory run:


        # make pcmcia (for 502A, 504, (RFMD, revD, revE pcmcia cards))


	


    This will do everything (install the driver patch


    and the necessary files ). (make sure that you logged on


    as root).
