Salut à tous !!
Bon voilà ça fait 2 jours que je bosse avec une résolution 800*600 à 60Hrz et je commence à avoir les yeux en bouillie !

J'arrive pô à configurer ma carte graphique. C'est un Hercule Prophet 4000XT.
J'ai pourtant tout fait comme y disent dans le TXT sur powervr.com.
Dans la log j'ai un truc du genre :
(EE) POWERVR(0): Couldn't obtain DeviceInfo for device 1:0:0

Pour info j'ai une carte mère GigaByte GA5AX avec un chipset Aladdin V m1541

.
Si qq'un à ne serait-ce qu'un début de solution...

    tu est sur d' avoir tout fait ? Parce que si je lis la doc il y a ça:

    1) First you must determine the busID of your KYRO card, this is
    done by the command:

    Red Hat:
    /sbin/lspci | grep VGA | grep SGS

    Mandrake:
    /usr/bin/lspci | grep VGA | grep SGS

    This should result in an output of the form:

    XX:YY.Z VGA compatible controller: SGS Thomson Microelectronics:
    Unknown device 0010 (rev BB)

    where
    XX:YY.Z is the bus ID of the device
    BB is the type of KYRO 01 = KYRO-I, 07 = KYRO-II

    2) Now copy the sample XF86 config file
    (/etc/X11/XF86KyroSampleConfig) to /etc/X11/XF86Config-4. If
    there is an existing XF86Config-4 file rename to something safe
    first.

    3) Edit the XF86 config file (/etc/X11/XF86Config-4) to modify the line:

    BusID "PCI:1:0:0"
    to be
    BusID "PCI:XX:YY:Z"

    Notice that XX, YY are returned as hex while XF86Config-4 must
    have decimal values.





    et a priori tu ne l' as pas fais a voir ton message d 'erreur: (EE) POWERVR(0): Couldn't obtain DeviceInfo for device 1:0:0

      C'est bon j'ai réussi !! (enfin !!!)

      En fait il faut prendre le XF86Config d'origine de RH9 et lui appliquer juste les
      modification du XF86Config de kyro.

      En suite ajouter dans les "paramètres carte video" 2 options spéciales dans la liste :

      HWCursor = 0
      NoAccel = 0


      Voila !!
