Alors voilà le résultat de : mplayer dvd://
le dvd n'est pas lisible du tout avec cette commande, la fenêtre de visualisation, s'affiche à peine un dixième de secondes puis disparait et mplayer s'arrête.

Quant à la commande : mplayer dvdnav:// , la lecture fonctionne, mais d'une part c'est le seul moyen de visionner ce dvd sur mon PC (vlc, kaffeine et autre xine se plantent lamentablement en mélangeant les chapitres), et d'autre part pour faire une copie c'est pas du tout utilisable.

Enfin, pour finir avec mes essais de mplayer, l'option identify m'indique que le titre le plus long est le 33 et non le 1 comme d'habitude, mais dvdnav saute au titre 95 pour lire le film.
Par contre, mplayer dvd://95 ou 33 ou 1 ou n'importe quel autre chiffre, ne me donne rien ou pas grand chose, idem pour dvdnav://95 ... 33 ... :

Quoiqu'il en soit, si le lecteur n'est pas en cause (je n'ai pas encore eu accès à un lecteur plus ancien), je ne vois pas de solution, google est plutôt silencieux sur le sujet, serais-je le seul à avoir ce problème?

Reste à savoir ce qu'on entend par trop récent
les lecteurs concernés ont en effet moins d'un an mais plus de 6 mois, je vais tester avec un lecteur plus ancien...
Sont quand même vicieux...

Au temps pour moi, dvdcpy est dans le paquet ogmrip.

Peux-tu développer un peu, perso et jusqu'à ce jour, j'utilisais mencoder mais si les séquences sont dans le désordre, le résultat sera dans le désordre aussi...

C'est bien mon avis aussi, et j'ai beaucoup de mal à comprendre une telle différence de qualité et d'ergonomie.
Je refuse de croire que les dèvs de sane soient moins compétents que Hamrick mais ça y ressemble quand même fortement...

Non, mon scanner n'est pas mort, il fonctionne excellemment bien avec vuescan, mais c'est pas libre.

1700 scanners annoncés, mais pas tous fonctionnels, ou alors j'ai rien compris.
Je m'acharne depuis 10 ans, à faire fonctionner un scan dual II avec sane.
Depuis quelques années il est annoncé comme fonctionnel mais je n'ai jamais réussi à obtenir une image.
Si quelqu'un y est arrivé, je suis preneur de toute info.

Finalement, la mise à jour du bios n'a pas résolu le problème.
va falloir que je vive avec...

C'est ce que je viens de faire, reste à voir si ça tient, pour l'instant, 4 cycles mise en veille/réveil sans souci...

a priori, mon bios est effectivement dépassé, je réfléchis donc à un moyen de le mettre à jour
sans passer par win$, je pense essayer flashrom mais je veux d'abord étudier la man à fond, en attendant modifier les options de boot dans grub2, ne coûte pas grand chose donc je vais essayer ça aussi.
Le problème des pannes aléatoire c'est qu'on ne peut pas être certain qu'elle soient résolues...

mon Bios semble à jour, je vais vérifier quand meme.
Quant aux logs, ils me diset juste que la mise en veille/hibernation c'est bien passée
ce qui est vrai, le problème survient après la suspension de tous les processus, au moment de couper l'alim...
Je vais creuser côté bios, mais si il faut flasher, je vais procrastiner un max.
