C'est vrai, j'en conviens.
Pour ce qui est de la carte interne, c'est du broadcom, c'est reconnu sous ubuntu, en me proposant le pilote proprio wl et b43-fwcutter en libre, pour extraire le firmware.

Sous gNewSense, la carte interne n'est pas reconnue.

Je le sais, que gNewSense, c'est ubuntu sans les paquets "non-free", c'est d'ailleurs pour ça que je l'ai installé à la place d'ubuntu.

Je cherche à faire fonctionner ma carte wifi sous gNewSense... Elle est censée fonctionner "out of box" comme je l'ai lu après recherches.

Certes, l'install de vrms n'est pas indispensable sur gnewsense, mais comme cette distrib est basée sur ubuntu, qui est elle-même basée sur debian, j'aurais eu tendance à croire qu'on pouvait l'obtenir.

D'ailleurs, plus généralement, comment se fait-il que vrms ne soit pas disponible par défaut sur d'autres distributions comme mandriva par exemple ?
