OCS Inventory NG 2.0.1 est sortie ce mardi avec au programme énormément de corrections de bug.

OCS Inventory NG est un logiciel d'inventaire et de gestion de parc informatique automatisé. Il permet donc de remonter l'intégralité de votre parc via des agents mais aussi de remonter votre réseau via les fonctionnalités d'IPdiscover et de scan SNMP. Il permet aussi de déployer de manière sécurisé des paquets, des scripts, des binaires ou autres.

Pour cette sortie, des plugins ont été développés afin d'ajouter des fonctions annexes et fournir des exemples pour de futurs contributions. Des images pour des machines virtuelles sont aussi disponible afin de pouvoir tester plus facilement la solution.

Bien évidemment les anciennes versions des agents restent compatibles avec la dernière version du serveur OCS Inventory NG.

    Est-ce que l'on peut l'utiliser conjointement à GLPI ?

      C'est plutôt GLPI qui s'utilise conjointement à OCS Inventory NG. En effet GLPI maintient un module qui permet de récupérer les informations contenu dans OCS Inventory NG pour la partie inventaire.

    Sommaire

    Apparemment le changelog n'est disponible ni sur le site, ni dans la partie documentation... tout le monde dit que beaucoup de bugs sont corrigés, mais c'est dommage, si on veut voir de quoi il s'agit, il faut télécharger l'archive et creuser.

    Voici ce que ça donne pour les versions Linux/Unix:
    - Dans le cas de l'agent, le fichier "Changes" existe à la racine.
    - Dans le cas du serveur, il faut également aller dans chaque sous-répertoire individuellement pour regarder le contenu du fichier "Changes" des différents répertoires (pas de "Changes" à la racine).
