Hello all, I just setup a debian woody unstable on my ShuttleX :

configuration : Debian GNU-Linux 2.6.11.7 woody/unstable on i686 AMD ATHLON 1800+

The Shuttle motherboard type : SN41G2 - NVIDIA nForce2-GT chipset FN41 - 1xDDR400-512Mb - Integrated GeForce4 MX core - channel sound (MCP-T
and AC'97 codec Realtek ALC650)- PCI typical of XPC.

When I'm trying to use hdparm on the /dev/hda here is a problem :

kain:/home/frederic# hdparm -c1 -d1 /dev/hda

/dev/hda:
setting 32-bit IO_support flag to 1
setting using_dma to 1 (on)
HDIO_SET_DMA failed: Operation not permitted
IO_support = 1 (32-bit)
using_dma = 0 (off)

the kernel .config options :

    Plus sérieusement: le "AMD and nVidia IDE support" semble correspondre à ta carte mère, est-ce que ça marche si tu active cette option?
