Bonjour,

je viens d'installer linux il n'y a pas longtemps sauf que j'ai un problème avec le wifi,
je rentre le bon mot de passe pour la clep wep mais il ne veux pas se connecter, pouvez vous m'aider svp?

Afin que les lecteurs de ce forum puissent t'aider, il faut que tu donnes plus d'informations:
- le nom et la version de la distribution Linux que tu as installée (par exemple: Ubuntu version 13.04)
- le plus d'informations possibles sur ta machine (ordi portable? la marque, le modèle, etc.)
- le modèle de ton modem ou routeur ou box
- le nom du logiciel avec lequel tu essaies de te connecter au WiFi (par exemple: NetworkManager)

j'ai déjà vu des cartes wfi, qui permettaient d'afficher la liste des points d'accès, mais pas d'aller plus loin sans le firmware.

Il semble que ta carte wifi fonctionne avec un chipset atheros

Ajoute le firmware atheros et ça devrait être bon.

  regarde dans le gestionnaire de paquet s'il n'y en a pas un qui s'appelerait firmware-xxxxx
  et dont la description parlerait du materiel ath9k

ok mais maintenant le boot repair a changer mon mdp, puis je ne le connais pas, je vais ss le recovery modd mais je n'artive pas taper ds la console en choisisant le menu root cobsole

    En fait jai reduit les partitions sous windows puis j'ai eu une erreur avec le grub puis j'ai utilise boot repair ensuite il a changer mon mot de passe. j'ai utilisé la metode console pour changer le mdp, mais je ne peux taper aucune commande dans le menu de recup voila.
