Salut tout le monde
Je suis débutant sous linux et je viens d installer la Mandriva 2006 j usque ici tout va bien ... mais c quand j arrive dans Mandriva "kde" mais deux écrans affiche exactement la meme chose aux lieu d etendre le bureaux à l autre il en fait une symétrie .... comment résoudre ce problème simplement merci d avence alors ma config : "ATI RADEON 9800" "SCREEN1=IIYAMA Mastervison 1280/1024" "SCREEN2 DELL 1500FP 1024/768" ..

    Il faut configurer un truc qui s'appelle Xinerama. Je n'ai jamais eu qu'un écran sur mon bureau, donc je n'en sais pas beacoup plus, mais il y a de la doc ici :

    Attention, ces docs sont un peu anciennes, et bon sur une distribution comme Mandriva, il y a peut-être plus simple.

      bon ben ca ne fonctionne toujours pas le bureaux étendu :( par contre g reussi a config correctement mon xorg.conf enfin je pensse .. x démarre sans soucil mais deux écrans sont reconnu mais pas moyen d etendre le bureaux et je n arrive pas à faire fonctionne xinerama :(

        (à la place de device1 et monitor1) ça donne quoi ?
        car là, j'ai l'impression que tout est dirigé vers le même écran...
