Je souhaite mettre à niveau mon actuel version de Linux Mint "Una" vers "Vanessa" mais il semblerait que j'ai une erreur avec un dossier

D'apres ubuntu history ou release ubuntu Focal qui sert de base à Mint 20.x date de … 2020
depuis il y a eu 2022, 2024, possible qu'il n'y ait plus de depot focal dans les archives.
du moins pour les paquets DEP-11
si tu n'as besoin de rien dans des depots, desactives les dans le gestionnaire de paquet ou via la ligne de commande, et reessaie.

La prochaine fois, utilise la syntaxe markdown pour les parties codes. C'est pas facile à lire dans l'état.
Sinon commente les parties backports dans
/etc/apt/sources.listet réessaie de faire ta mise à jour.[^] # Re: backports

J'ai trouvé une piste sur les forums officiels (https://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?t=285096) : forcer l'usage d'archives gz à la place d'archives xz.
Exécute cette commande puis retente la mise à nouveau :

le problème venait bien d'un dossier en doublon. Malgré tout, je suis repassé sous Una 20.3 que je trouve stable, avec la 21.3 problème de pad et connexion internet. Je ne suis pas assez bon pour me pencher dessus.
Je suis d'accord avec toi Iann, le mieux c'est d'installer direct la dernière version. D'ailleurs que vaut la 22.2 Zara ?
Quoiqu'il arrive je resterai sur Cinnamon, j'ai essayé XFCE, ça me va pas.
sur quels supports êtes-vous chacun et êtes-vous satisfait ?

Ce forum (linuxfr) est généraliste : les utilisateurs de ce site utilisent une infinité de distributions différentes (pas seulement linux mint) et d’environnement de bureaux différents (pas seulement cinnamon et xfce). Je suppose que chacun s’en dira satisfait.
Si tu t’es habituée à linux mint et à cinnamon, le plus simple serait sûrement de continuer ainsi.
Toutefois, la version que tu utilises à présent (linux mint 20.3) ne reçoit plus de mise à jour de sécurité depuis avril 2025. Il est donc important de passer à une version supérieure.
Le mieux, comme suggéré plus haut, serait sans doute d’installer directement la dernière version (linux mint 22.2), après une minutieuse sauvegarde de tes données sur un medium extérieur. Mais passer les versions une à une devrait aussi être possible.
Difficile de dire à l’avance si tu trouveras pleine satisfaction de cette nouvelle version de linux mint. Il existe un site qui permet de tester les distributions en ligne, il devrait te permettre d’avoir un aperçu des changements qui ont été ajoutés depuis la version 20.3 : https://distrosea.com/fr/start/linuxmint-22.2-cinnamon/
Concernant la compatibilité avec ton matériel, comme une version d’il y a quelques années fonctionne bien, il y a de bonnes raisons de penser qu’une version plus récente fonctionnera aussi, moyennant quelques réglages éventuels.
