Why does the use of LLMs, in particular, constitute a line we should not cross? There are plenty of ethical problems in tech, particularly when we look at the monolithic corporations such as Apple and Meta. Why not also ban people using Apple hardware, or insist that we may not use Google’s products for any community business? We might do that, of course. But, for me, there are two major reasons to focus on LLMs, and both are related to our commitment to building strong, inclusive tech communities.

Le mainteneur de la libxml2 a aussi interdit l'usage de LLM dans son projet, en disant avoir été inspiré par ce long billet de Bethan Tovey-Walsh, où elle considère que les LLM sont une ligne jaune à ne pas franchir :
