Bonjour,

j'ai pas mal de prob gênant depuis l'installation de logiciel ( j'aime bien fouiller )

je sais plus ce que j'ai installer mais voilà ce qui se passe :

il boot, j'ai un logo debain ( je voulais voir ce que c'était ), ok, il veut lancer X, il y a le bruit à l'écran, puis revient, sans erreur........ déjà là, je lui avait demandé d'ouvrir automatiquement KDE en schlopa. KDM veut plus j'ai l'impression.

ensuite, je tape mon user ( schlopa ) et fais " startx " ok non pb, sauf que je vais sous Xfce !! Je venais aussi de l'installer pour voir comment c'était, mais là j'ai plus le choix entre KDE &co

aie aie aie je me dit que j'suis dans le caca !

autre idée, tenter de lancer KDM, je tape donc kdm, veut pas je suis en user, je vais en root, magique, c'est .... KDE qui se lance tout seule, et en .......USER !!

je comprends plus rien !!

j'aimerai que KDM se lance tout seule au démarrage, et que je puisse choisir entre KDE et XFce.

je sais pas si j'étais assez clair.......

    tu lances rcconf en tant que root et tu coches kdm !!!

    euh, disons que j'ai aussi foutu le bordel avec apt-get :

    voici le message :

    # apt-get install rcconf

    Construction de l'arbre des dépendances... Fait
    Vous pouvez lancer « apt-get -f install » pour corriger ces problèmes :
    Les paquets suivants contiennent des dépendances non satisfaites :
    bittorrent-gui: Dépend: libwxgtk2.4-python mais ne sera pas installé
    E: Dépendances non satisfaites. Essayez « apt-get -f install » sans paquet
    (ou indiquez une solution).

    je sais j'ai toujours eu de la chance




    pour kdm, je suis allé dans le centre de configuration et j'ai décocher démarrer automatiquement la session schlopa. Et ça marche !

    maintenant mon blême c'est qui y a pas afficher schlopa ou root, mais sambaguest ou je sais pas quoi, enfin, c'est les deux derniers utilisateur que j'ai crée.....


    comment faire pour avoir mon schlopa et root ?

      pour depanner apt, tape comme indiqué:
      apt-get -f install
      il te faudra peut etre reinstaller bittorrent-gui, mais utilise aptitude ou synaptic pour ca.

      pour lancer kdm au boot, comme dit plus haut:
      dpkg-reconfigure kdm

      pour choisir les utilisateurs a montrer dans kdm:
      va dans le centre de controle de kde il y a un outil pour configurer kdm.(ca demande le mot de passe root)
      ceci dit c'est pas une super idee de lancer des sessions X en root, mieux vaut utiliser su.

    A priori t'as un problème de souris... La question, pourquoi ca marche la seconde fois...
    Tu peux essayer de rajouter "psmouse" dans /etc/modules...
    Ou bien de changer dans le device Pointer de ton XF86Config-4 la definition de la souris...

    T'as quoi comme souris?
