Tout le monde ne se connecte pas toujours depuis la même machine, et peut apprécier d'avoir ses archives qui le suivent. Notamment quand il est propriétaire de son serveur.
[1] : Avec accès ssh chrooté dessus (comme Wikileaks) ? Ça permettrait de faire des vérifications (par hash ?) pour voir si on peut avoir confiance en chaque serveur.
Qu'est-ce qui te prouve que le fichier auquel tu accèdes par SSH - tout immuable qu'il peut être - correspond bien à ce qui est servi par le serveur web?
En me promenant sur Github, j'ai vu que des mecs essayaient de sortir quelque-chose de Diaspora. Il y a notamment une tentative de le faire tourner sur CouchDB (http://monocl.es/ ), mais surtout Diaspora-X. C'est-à-dire un fork de Diaspora (espérant pouvoir rejoindre le tronc par la suite) se basant sur XMPP pour la fédération. Il permet déjà de communiquer avec BuddyCloud, apparemment.
Sauf que des alternatives à Diaspora, il y en a foison. Et des globalement mieux gaulés (même si l'interface n'est pas toujours aussi léchée). En attendant, Diaspora tire la couverture (médiatique) à lui, avec un bagage technique franchement limite.
Des gens ici seraient-ils motivés pour faire des tests un peu poussés de Jingle (et éventuellement de solutions SIP) ? Genre essayer de définir un peu ce qui passe et ce qui ne passe pas? Signalez-vous à larrycow@jappix.org si c'est le cas.
As-tu essayé un client XMPP gérant Jingle? Je pense à Psi, notamment. Ça demande un peu de "polish" pour être pleinement utilisable (l'interface pour passer des communications est atroce, on sent bien que ça a été ajouté après coup), mais ça marche raisonnablement bien. En tous cas, ce peut fournir une base.

Ca, et caresser sa clientèle dans le sens du poil : des couvertures aguicheuses, avec de jolies femmes (l'acheteur moyen est un homme) sapées comme dans les années 80 (l'acheteur moyen n'est plus tout jeune).
Ah? C'est sympa, le Desire Z? Parce qu'un Androphone avec clavier physique, ça me chatouillait, et le Desire tout court est assez agréable (au point que j'en suis presque à me dire que le clavier physique n'est finalement pas si indispensable).

Un peu, oui. Très légèrement. Ceci dit, si quelqu'un se sent de pré-packager un Kerb adapté à cet usage, ça pourrait marcher.

C'est faux : la voix sur Psi fonctionne sous Linux ET Windows.
(bon, pour le reste le logiciel est un peu resté dans son coin pendant quelques temps, et ça recommence tout juste à bouger)
