Hi,

I just wanted to send out a reminder that the second annual
Python community conference is underway, as of today. Over
320 paid attendees are signed up, of whom 60 showed up early
to work on software development sprints (XP-style coding
events) this weekend and Monday/Tuesday.

The key note speakers lined up for next week will be Mitch
Kapor, founder of Lotus; Guido van Rossum, creator of Python;
and Bruce Eckel, author of Thinking in Java and Thinking in C++,
among others.

This conference may turn out to be the best-attended Python
conference yet, which is particularly impressive given that
it is organized and run by volunteers.
