Pirate
La MPAA a réussi à faire fermer plusieurs sites parce qu'ils diffusaient le code source de DeCSS. Cependant il existe plein d'autres solutions pour récupérer DeCSS, du DNS à Quake en passant par du WAP ou BackOrifice.

    Je croyais que DeCSS servait a lire les DVD sous Linux et autres OS. Pas a pirater.

      C'est comme les copies audios (cassettes, cds, ...), c'est authorisé pour un usage PRIVé (donc pas en public) DU COPISTE (de celui qui a copié, donc pas de celui qui achete une éventuelle copie)

          Rien à voir mais il est clair que daCode une fois disponible en béta pour le publique tiendra la charge bien bien mieux que le code de slashdot. Enfin c'est mon point de vue très subjectif.

    Since I've seen to many Outlook viruses out there in the past year or two, how about this time we create one that actually does something productive rather than wreak havok?

    I say someone writes an Outlook virus that would have compressed copies of the DeCSS source code attached to the message. Like most other Outlook viruses that run without the user knowing, this one would as well, execept it put the DeCSS souce code on a area of the hard drive where the user would normally not look and rename it (say C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\SKUZIDRV.SYS).

    Later, if need be, the file could be retreived through another e-mail to the same person (assuming they keep the same computer) if we find the number of copies out there dwindling. Again, another Outlook virus that would create a new message, attach the file and send it to a specified address.

Je dis que quelqu'un écrit un virus de perspectives qui aurait comprimé des copies du code source de DeCSS attaché au message. Comme la plupart des autres virus de perspectives qui fonctionnent sans utilisateur sachant, celui-ci aussi bien, execept qu'il a mis le code de souce de DeCSS sur une zone du lecteur dur où l'utilisateur ne la regarderait normalement pas et ne renommerait pas (parole C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\SKUZIDRV.SYS). Plus tard, si besoin en est, le fichier pourrait être retreived par un autre E-mail à la même personne (supposant ils gardent le même ordinateur) si nous trouvons le nombre de copies hors là de la diminution. Encore, un autre virus de perspectives qui créerait un nouveau message, attacherait le fichier et l'enverrait à une adresse indiquée. Hé, peut-être je devrais faire breveter ceci! Mémoire de fichier à distance et Retrevial en utilisant des perspectives de Microsoft

          La traduction automatique a encore des progrès à faire mais c'est toujours excellent.

          Je me souvient d'une traduction ayant pour résultat "la massue du ventilateur de Zara White"
          . Sans l'original la bonne traduction est dure à trouver.

          chouette un adepte de Douglas Adams... Tu crois qu'il y aurait moyen d'utiliser un babelfish pour comprendre le code ? ça serait bien aussi ;-)

        ca dit en gros qu'on peut faire un virus Outlook qui propagerait ce code sur un peu tous les disques durs windows.
        il se camouflerait dans le style PARDONDRV.SYS.
        l'auteur envisage aussi de recuperer son code en expediant de nouveau un email a la machine infectee.

          Ca says approximately that one can make a Outlook virus which would propagate this code on a little all the hard disks Windows. it would be camouflaged in style PARDONDRV.SYS. the author considers also recuperer his code by expediant an email again has the machine infectee.

          Fred, pas mauvaise ta traduction à la Renaud "..the author considers also recuperer..", mais tu t'es planté avec ta traduction de "SKUZIDRV.SYS" comme étant "PARDONDRV.SYS", c'était pas "skuzmi" mais "skuzi" soit "SCSI" (c'est comme ça que ça doit se prononcer, "skeuzi" en phonétique française), donc "SKUZIDRV.SYS" donne ... pareil, ou bien "CEQUEZIDRV.SYS" :-)

    Il n'y a que moi que ca choque ce logo "pirate" a coté du légitime DeCSS ? La MPAA par ses récentes déclaration visant l'opensource n'avait pas mieux dit.
