Bonjour
J'ai effectuer une install de debian sur un pc portable équipé d'une carte wifi, et prise ethernet.
Depuis le lancement de debian je ne peux pas aller sur le net, la carte semble etre reconnu mais impossible d'activer ni le wi-fi ni par cable ethernet.
J'ai essayé plusieurs méthode mais je ne vois pas du tout quoi faire.
Aidez-moi s'il vous plait!!
Pour info j'ai installé sur ce pc ubuntu en dual boot avec debian et je peux me connecter avec ubuntu.

philosophiquement parlant, debian n'inclut pas les firmwares non-libres par defaut lors de l'installation, là ou ubuntu le fait, permettant ainsi de fonctionner sur plus de machine.
il faut peut-etre voir deja avec
ou
pour savoir quelles cartes tu as,
puis une petite recherche sur internet devrait t'en dire plus.

Des firmware pas libre pour les cartes ethernet sur un portable ? J'ai un gros doute quand même, sur les serveurs, je vois bien broadcom mais sur un laptop…

Renseigne toi sur
chroot
qui te permettra d'installer des paquets sur ta Debian depuis Ubuntu.[^] # Commentaire supprimé

Deux étapes :
– ajouter les dépôts non-free, en ajoutant « non-free » dans /etc/apt/source.list, pour avoir une ligne du type :
deb http://ftp.fr.debian.org/debian/ testing main contrib non-free
– trouver et installer les bons paquets. Pour le wifi il semble y avoir un paquet « firmware-atheros »
http://packages.debian.org/sid/firmware-atheros
pour le reste… il faut chercher, un bon point de départ pourrait être :

pour l'interface giga-ethernet :
- visiblement : module atl1c à partir du noyau v2.6.34 (cf : http://kmuto.jp/debian/hcl/Lenovo/G570).
- donc, à la console : "modprobe atl1c" suivi de dmesg pour voir si la carte réseau est bien détectée,
- il semble que ce module soit dispo sur toutes les versions Debian courantes.
