Petite présentation pour mon premier post sur le forum :

Je me tourne vers vous car mes chers professeurs de musique ont fait l'acquisition de MACBOOK il y a une semaine. (caractéristiques [http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Macbook ] voir modèle mid 2009 dans le tableau en bas de page)
Malgré mon insistance pour acquérir des PC 100% compatible avec le but final -> faire de la MAO avec PLANET CCRMA sous Fedora, ils se sont bornés à vouloir du MAC.
Bilan maintenant c'est moi qui suis dans la M _ _ _ _
J'ai terminé l'install des 3 OS (MAc OS X, XP, CentOS 5.3)
Maintenant je me casse la tête sur la config de la centOs 5.3.

Avouer que c'est embêtant pour une machine dédiée à la MAO

D'abord, ça veut dire quoi exactement "je n'ai pas son" ? Quel logiciel utilises-tu pour lire ton fichier ? Et quel genre de fichier ?
Des infos plus techniques aussi, genre le résultat d'un lsmod, d'un dmesg. Et aussi quel mixers apparaissent dans les réglages du son, s'ils ne sont pas "muté", etc.

Fait une recherche sur les mailing liste de dev d'alsa avec l'ID PCI du chipset et tout.
Je ne connais pas Linux mais lors de mes recherches pour faire avoir du son sur mon Macbook pro j'avais trouvé :

(Ils mentionnent un outil HDA-Analyzer et un autre outil http://helllabs.org/codecgraph)
Honnêtement j'en avais chié... Quel bonheur quand le son sort enfin :)

Pour corriger le soucis (apres avoir ecumer la moitie d'internet) j'ai finalement reussi a trouver la solution qui va bien.
Celle-ci consistait a charger le driver en passant une option du type :
modprobe snd-hda-intel model=mbp3
Ou bien en ajoutant la ligne suivante (sous debian-like) dans le fichier /etc/modprobe.d/options :
options snd_hda_intel model=mbp3
Je ne sais pas si ca va aider mais dans le doute...
Sinon la sortie de lspci -n peut etre utile.
Le resultat copie sur le formulaire present sur http://kmuto.jp/debian/hcl/ peut aussi aider.

Logiciel utilisé : Muse et tout autre issus de PLANET CCRMA, pour lire un fichier m4a (MPEG-4 Audio) avec TOTEM.
Lire un fichier audio avec Noatun.
Mixer utilisé : KMIX

pour le lspci essaie sans le -N
afin de savoir quel ID est la carte son
puis lspci -N avec uniquement la ligne commencant par l'ID trouvé precedemment

Pas de son quand je veux lire un fichier m4a avec totem pourtant la lecture s'écoule et donc les images défilent.
Pas de son quand je veux lire un fichier audio avec noatum, etc......
