    On vas pouvoir convertir des programmes multi-plateformes en programmes qui ne marche que sur plateformes microsoft.

      Tiens c'est marrant, moi qui croyait que Corel avait ete sauve de la faillite par MS pour porter .NET sur Linux...

      On m'a encore menti a l'insu de mon plein gre...

        C'est vrai que si tout le monde voulait bien accepter de n'utiliser que Microsoft, tout serait multi-plateforme ! C'est ennervant ces vilains rebels qui luttent contre le multi-plateforme en refusant d'utiliser IE4 et Windows !

                Pas de quoi ! Ca fait plaisir un proMicrosoft qui comprend enfin que l'opensource est le seul moyen d'être assuré de tourner sur toutes les plateformes :)

    En tout cas il semble bien s'en soucier ...

    Ce qui est delirant, c'est que JUMP c'est le nom de code de JavaWebStart,
    une technologie standardisée par un JSR,
    qui utilise un protocol XML (JNLP) pour permettre le deploiement et l'intégration automatisée de client Java2 sur l'internet (une techno super delirante et impressionante)

    (Je rappelle qu'en 98 MS avait déja annoncé la disponibilité immédiate d'une technologie "Java-Killer" qui se nommé COOL et qu'il y avait meme des kit de dev ! ... c'etait juste pour les amnesiques de service ... remarque ya des masos aussi ... been f*** and re-f*** ! )

          Le mec est heberge par PROXAD, le service pro de FREE (y a pas plus pro LINUX comme FAI), si un jour il existe .NET sort, et que des hebergeurs proposent des services bases dessus, et que ce garcon ne passe chez eux, la il y aura des raisons de se foutre de lui.

            il existe des hébergeur sous plateforme win.

            un peu facile de défendre une plateforme encore non testée - .NET - tout en choisissant un herbergeur qui ne fait pas confiance aux produits testable de l'auteur de .NET

              .NET n'est pas une plateforme, mais un code en beta-test, donc une *future* plateforme... Si vous lisez le "About", vous verrez qu'on a choisi le plus simple et le moins cher pour notre hébergement... Et puis, soit dit entre nous, Linux et PHP, je connais un peu... ;-)) Je sais même me servir de whois et pas vous, na ! (LOL)

      le principe de .net c'est que tu loues les softs, via le net [> donc pas de disque local avec les programmes] et que tu payes à chaque utilisation (en très gros)

    Je suis allé faire un tour sur le site pointé. Tout en haut, j'ai pu lire : "C'est du pipo cette histoire. Microsoft se sert d'annonces merdiques pour tuer la concurrence... une fois de plus". Pourtant, ce site semble tout acquis au .NET. En recopiant le texte, j'ai cliqué involontairement dessus et, là je suis tombé sur le même site, mais sans le commentaire... Quelqun peut m'expliquer ?
    Philip_Marlowe, qui revient tout à l'heure s'authentifier et vous donner quelques informations en plus, mais pas sur cet aspect.

    Voilà. Il se trouve que si je ne connais Internet pratiquement que comme utilisateur, je suis impliqué dans l'informatique comme programmeur pour des réalisations industrielles (robotiques entre autres). Je suis profondément allergique au C++. Parmi les langages à objet que l'on peut trouver, celui qui a le plus retenu mon attention, et que je vais utiliser pour mon projet en cours si les aspects parallèles de l'application ne m'oblige pas à utiliser Ada, est Eiffel. Eiffel a été créé par Bertrand Meyer, dont je vous passe tous les diplômes et titres, qui de toutes façons ne prouveraient en rien son intelligence, mais Eiffel, si ! Une pointure... Or, que reçois-je sur mon mail hier ? Ma surprise passée (ISE, la boîte de Meyer, produit des environnements de programmation Eiffel pour Windows et Linux, payants et ce n'est pas du logiciel libre, mais les spécifications d'Eiffel sont éminemment publiques, et les réalisations de compilateurs concurrents des siens -par exemple SmallEiffel du Loria :

    qui est, lui, en GPL- sont vivement encouragées par Bertrand Meyer.
    Aussi, malgré mon ignorance à peut-près totale pour l'instant de ce qu'est .NET, le fait de voir des gens comme Bertrand Meyer venir en faire la promotion, payante..., ainsi que de choses comme C#, me fait penser que nous nous trouvons là devant une grosse machine de guerre.

    Jump est deja le nom d'un programe qui genere de l'assembleur 68000 pour Palm-Pilot a partir de bytecode Java.
