Erreur au lancement de menuconfig

Bonjour à tous,

Je cherche à recompiler le kernel de ma opensuse 10.3 pour y ajouter le support des manettes xbox 360. Cependant j'ai un problème assez dérangeant, après avoir sauvegardé ma la configuration du noyau actuel, je n'arrive pas à lancer menuconfig par la commande make menuconfig.

Je suis bien en root et placé dans /usr/src/linux. voila l'erreur :

Il te manque sûrement la librairie de developpement "libncurses5-dev", c'est classique comme erreur :)

  Merci c'était tout à fait ça. J'avais vérifié si ncurse était présent mais pas cette librairie là.
  
  Cependant j'ai lancer la compilation du noyau et du module et ça à l'air d'être long très long malgrès un dual core récent.

    Le temps de compilation depend beaucoup du nombre d'options que tu as activé (en module ou en dur), bien configuré tu peux largement réduire à quelques minutes.
    Regarde aussi du coté des fonctions de paraléllisme de make, compile par exemple avec la commande "make -j2" et non pas "make", cela permet de lancer deux compilations en paralèlle (en utilisant les deux cores).

      Bon la compilation est lancé mais j'ai remarqué que opensuse active beaucoup de module par défaut. J'en ai enlevé certains du style palette graphique mais je n'ai pas trop voulu m'aventurer plus loin.
      
      En tout cas pour ma première tentavie de compilation du noyau , je ne trouve pas la manipulation très compliqué. Je pense qu'avec une meilleur connaissance de mon materiel je pourrai facilement optimiser tout ça.
