j'ai un problème avec mon serveur de messagerie qui tourne sous linux redhat 9, et je crois que le problème se pose au niveau de la config de sendmail. etant un peu debutant en linux et surtout ne maitrisant pas encore la config de sendmail, j'ai pensé alors demandé de l'aide.
En fait le serveur reçois les messages mais n'arrive pas à envoyer.

quelqu'un pourait t-il m'aider à resoudre ce problème?
je vous en prie, c'est très important pour moi, car ce problème a bloqué plusieurs activité de la structure.

pour mon cas, le serveur utilise la premiere possibilité c.à.d, il envoi directement les mails par internet, sans passer par un smarthost.
aussi j'ai essayé de verifier dans ma log (/var/log), j'ai pas trouver un fichier nommé "mail.log", mais j'ai trouvé plein de fochiers nommé "maillog.1", "maillog.2" ... et le contenu de ces fichiers est de ce genre:

Essaie de taper la commande nslookup

Là déjà tu dois voir quelque chose comme :

Ensuite essaie de chercher l'enregistrement MX du domaine yahoo.fr par exemple :

Il y a un truc qui m'étonne c'est que tu aies "connection refused", ce qui implique que ton sendmail n'écoute pas sur le port 25. As tu bien pensé
à regénerer ton fichier sendmail.cf ?
> m4 sendmail.mc > _sendmail.cf
> mv -f _sendmail.cf sendmail.cf
Ah oui, pour envoyer des messages, tu peux utiliser la séquence suivante :
