when i will install some things i got this error :
Preparing to install...
WARNING: /tmp does not have enough disk space!
Attempting to use /root for install base and tmp dir.

WARNING! The amount of /root disk space required to perform
this installation is greater than what is available. Please
free up at least 110686 kilobytes in /root and attempt this
installation again. You may also set the IATEMPDIR environment
variable to a directory on a disk partition with enough free
disk space. To set the variable enter one of the following
commands at the UNIX command line prompt before running this
installer again:

- for Bourne shell (sh), ksh, bash and zsh:

$ IATEMPDIR=/your/free/space/directory
$ export IATEMPDIR

- for C shell (csh) and tcsh:

$ setenv IATEMPDIR /your/free/space/directory

thanks you

    1)in terminal try to type this commands
    "df -h"
    "mount"
    and post the result here.
    We can see where you can found some free disk space.

    2) try do delete some tempory file in your /tmp repetory.
    3) if you haven't root acces to your computer, please contact your local administrator.

    As explained above, you're probably running out of free disk space. What we now need to know is if your different directories are spread across different partitions or if your complete system fits on the same one.

    Also, a minimum amount of free space is reserved for root when a partition is about to be full. Therefore, if you are running something as root, such an installer, this rescue space can be spoiled as well and this may prevent your system to restart. At this stage, nothing is really is really fucked up but you might need a live CD to boot and do some cleanup, which is not so easy for an unexperimented user.

    And finally, this website is a french-speaking forum indeed.
