Nouvelle publicité d'IBM en faveur de Linux
Linux is like nothing else in the history of computing—the most unique innovation operating systems have ever seen. It's unprecedented integration. It's an open source operating system. Owned by no single company or private enterprise. Constantly improved by thousands of programmers. And it's getting bigger. Last year, according to the IDC, shipments of servers running Linux increased by 22.8%.

If Linux were a person, he would be growing, fast. Taught by the best. Gaining wisdom beyond his years. And sharing. He would be in business, education, government and homes. He would be a nine-year-old boy changing the world.

    Autant je trouvais l'idée du jeune garçon excellente pour représenter Linux, autant je trouve cette pub plutôt mal lunée : elle présente une atmosphère oppressante (un gamin de neuf ans, assis en permanence dans une grande salle blanche, sans fenêtre, toujours à écouter, sans s'exprimer, c'est assez curieux), cherche manifestement à promouvoir une vision froide et professionnelle seulement de Linux.

    A moins qu'il y ait rapidement un autre spot plus vivant et dynamique, je trouve que la vision du marketing d'IBM n'est pas très heureuse (pour l'adoption par le grand public, j'entends ; probablement pas ce qui est visé ici).

      C'est peut être tout simplement prévu pour Bloomberg tv/msnbc/... toutes les chaines business et info pour décideurs.
      du coup, son tempo lent est plus approprié.
