Je bute et rebute sur la configuration et l'amélioration de l'affichage. Quelques échanges là-dessus sur le forum ne m'ont pas donné la solution ni ceci

qui semblait pourtant prometteur. En l'état, donc, je n'ai pas d'effets 3D et une image vidéo dégradée (dominée par le bleu). Si quelqu'un sait quoi faire...

    Bonjour,

    Quel est ton modèle de carte. que donne grep EE /var/log/Xorg.0.log ou grep WW /var/log/Xorg.0.log ? Ce serai bien d'avoir plus de précisions.
    Quel est le contenus de ton /etc/X11/xorg.conf ? Si tu le supprime, que se passe-t-il (perso je l'ai supprimé, tout est détecté automatiquement) ?

    La version 2.7.1 est dispo ici : ftp://ftp.free.fr/pub/Distributions_Linux/MandrivaLinux/deve(...) , sinon tu peut essayer avec celle-ci : ftp://ftp.free.fr/pub/Distributions_Linux/MandrivaLinux/deve(...) .

      Bonsoir,

      je tarde à te répondre et le fais à rebours par rapport à l'ordre de tes questions et suggestions. Ayant trouvé sur mandriva.com un post qui évoquait des problèmes similaires aux miens et qui signalait cette version du module, je l'ai téléchargée avec urpmi non sans avoir viré avec urpme la version précédente et des dépendances (par contre je n'ai pas touché aux fichiers orphelins). Donc à elle seule, cette modification ne suffit pas.

      Voici le contenu de /etc/X11/xorg.conf ; tu constateras que, comme j'ai testé plusieurs reconfigurations, cela semble un peu bordélique (par exemple, démultiplication des subsections "Display"...) :

      En te relisant me vient une question : que veux-tu dire exactement par une suppression de xorg.conf ? Je supprime le fichier lui-même ? Je le vide de son contenu ? Ou je me contente de supprimer la section "Device" qui concerne la carte graphique ?

      J'ai donc testé la suppression qui semble tout arranger en effet. Merci pour cette bonne idée. Par contre, fâcheuse conséquence, ça m'a fait perdre la fonction déroulement de la souris intégrée... On ne peut pas tout avoir, semble-t-il...
