Forum Linux.debian/ubuntu Erreurs de segmentation sur plusieurs applications

Bonjour

il y a quelques jours, j'ai changé le disque dur de mon ordinateur, après en avoir copié le contenu sur un disque neuf, plus gros. Le tout fonctionne exactement comme avant, bonheur.

Par contre, plusieurs applications ont tendance à planter, en affichant ou pas un Segmentation fault dans le terminal, dmesg affiche souvent quelque chose comme:

segfault at xxx ip xxxd sp xxx error 4 in libc-2.10.2.so


Est-ce qu'un fichier mal copié depuis mon ancien disque dur mourant pourrait déclencher ça ? Je précise que le problème n'est pas matériel externe au disque dur, j'ai essayé sur une autre unité centrale, idem.

Et sinon, comment réparer ça en conservant mon système aux petits oignons ?

      oups, doublon

      j'ai fait un aptitude reinstall libc6 et aptitude reinstall libc6-i686
      mais celui ci ne m'aide pas:

          j'ai réussi (je pense) à revenir à la version officielle avec des bidouillages à la main, le problème est toujours la.

          dpkg -l | grep libc6
          ii libc6 2.7-18lenny7 GNU C Library: Shared libraries
          ii libc6-dev 2.7-18lenny7 GNU C Library: Development Libraries and Header Files
          ii libc6-i686

      j'ai démarré sur un live cd, recrée des partitions pouvant contenir les données du vieux disque, et tout copié bêtement.

      Ensuite je me suis débrouillé avec des forums pour coller grub à sa place, et voila.
      Après j'ai juste eu a repasser le propriétaire des fichiers de mon home vers mon nom de login (avec chown), et tout remarchait.

    Si les binaires concernés et leurs dépendances sont pas corrompus, faudrait récupérer un core et en obtenir un backtrace.

      merci, je ne connaissais pas. J'ai copié le résultat plus bas.
      Par contre je ne trouve pas de trace d'un quelconque fichier nommé libc-2.10.2.so dans ceux censés être fournis avec ma lenny (d'après packages.debian.org)

      Celle ci fournit seulement /lib/i686/cmov/libc-2.7.so et /lib/libc-2.7.so.
      Chez moi ces deux fichiers existent aux memes endroits, avec pour nom libc-2.10.2.so.

      J'ai fait un debsums -s libc6 et debsums -s libc6-i686, qui ne renvoie pas d'erreur.
      J'ai aussi essayé
      aptitude reinstall libc6-i686 qui donne
      Impossible de localiser un fichier du paquet libc6-i686. sans préciser le fichier en question.

        Récupères un core de l'application qui segfault (ulimit -c unlimited) et lances gdb dessus. Il devrait te donner le chemin complet de tous les binaires potentiellement concernés et un backtrace lisible si tu as les symboles de debug qui vont bien (sinon aptitude install ...-dbg).

          Enfin, ça c'est en espérant que ça soit encore récupérable parce qu'apparement tu as peté ta libc en installant une version non fourni par la distro.

                    Il y a vraisemblablement un bug dans libxml2 qui le fait crasher lors de la tentative de parsing d'un certains fichier que tu dois pouvoir retrouver en examinant la frame #9 (mais ça sera bien plus facile avec les symboles de debug). Il est probable que le fichier en question soit corrompu. Il s'agit probablement d'un fichier de configuration g{nome,conf,whatever} qui est quelque part dans ~/.g*

                    1/ si tu crées un nouvel utilisateur, est-ce que le problème apparait toujours avec cet utilisateur ?
                    2/ aptitude install libxml2-dbg && gdb `which inkscape` core puis "bt full"
                    3/ strace -f -e open inkscape

                    Une fois que t'as trouvé le fichier qui merde et que t'as un backtrace un peu plus complet, tu peux rapporter le bug avec reportbug.

                            pour info, j'ai installé une version recente de libxml2 à partir des sources, tout à l'air de remarcher correctement.
