Firebird 0.7 sous Mdk 9.2, je constate aussi les déplacements horizontaux entre quelques pages :
- plus à gauche : contacts, news
- plus à droite : partenaires, accueil, quads
Ça va peut-être faire bouger un peu les chochottes de décideurs informatiques des banques-finances-assurances pour leurs environnements "fortement contraints" qui excluent Linux plutôt par frilosité et peurs infondées entretenues par les éditeurs de "grands Unix"...
C'est génial ce truc, enfin la fin d'une p****n de barre de tâches et liste des tâches surchargées... ça va faire de la place sur la barre de lancement et de statut.
Est-ce que ça rentre pas en collision avec gDesklets[1] ça ?
Pour info gDesklets est le Karamba[2] pour GNOME.

Actuellement, les 30 dernières dépêches refusées remontent jusqu'au 12/11 alors que 30 dernières dépêches publiées remontent jusqu'au 14/11.
En ce qui te concerne, tes news sont intéressantes, dans la ligne éditoriale, bien rédigées, avec une collection de liens pertinente, notre travail est donc très simple, très rapide, donc agréable.
Le premier éditeur (modéro) qui lit la news visionne le contenu de la news, suit les liens et les vérifie (pas toujours : soit parceque c'est déjà fait ou évident, ou parceque c'est trop compliqué et qu'on qu'on fait confiance à l'auteur qu'on connait déjà). Si elle est dans la ligne éditoriale, on passe à la correction orthographique, la typo, le rajout de liens parfois, et la NdM quand il faut préciser quelquechose. Après tout ça, on peut laisser la news dans la queue parcequ'on a des doutes et qu'on veut des avis des autres éditeurs. Il existe un système de commentaires comme les news et journaux, et on une tribune privée. On a aussi la mailing list.
Attention quand vous utilisez "propriété intellectuelle"... il n'y a pas de définition claire, et ce sont les proprios qui se sont appropriés l'expression...
Ça doit quand même prendre racine quelquepart dans le droit d'auteur (copyright)...

Problème de notions terminal/serveur, espèce de Windowsiens va !
Ce que tu appelles terminal, c'est la bête en entier : écran + clavier + souris + unité centrale. En fait, il s'agit d'une bécane complète transformée en "terminal X" (installée+configurée pour cette tâche).
Un serveur est le logiciel qui sert les ressources aux clients : ici les ressources c'est l'affichage (XFree86 par exemple), les clients sont les logiciels qui ne demandent qu'à s'afficher (Mozilla, OpenOffice, toutes les applis KDE et GNOME, etc.).
Donc ton serveur X tourne sur ton terminal X, le pentium 200.
L'autre bécane qui héberge tes applis est... une autre bécane. Tu peux monter cette architecture ailleurs sans ce rapport de puissance machine, dans tous les sens : machine A héberge appli X + machine B l'affiche, machine B héberge appli Y + machine A et C l'affichent, etc.
Et oui, pas eu besoin d'attendre les PCAnywhere et *VNC pour déporter l'affichage sous *nix...
Petit conseil pour impressionner : faites tourner le serveur X en plein écran, barre des tâches masquée, et travaillez sous WindowMaker (un environnement qui tranche assez avec le look Windows...) et ne cachez pas votre écran... les badauds vont être légion, il ne reste qu'à les cueillir et leur expliquer Linux et les logiciels libres. ;-)
MaxDB 7.5 = SAP DB (la version suivant la 7.4 en fait...)
MaxDB est édité par MySQL AB, la boite.
MaxDB != MySQL, le RDBMS
MaxDB != PostgreSQL
MaxDB et PostgreSQL vont sans doute s'émuler au niveau technique.
MaxDB est mieux mis en lumière (par MySQL AB, la boite) que quand il s'appelait SAP DB (caché au fin fond de l'offre des produits de SAP AG, la boite, caché principalement par SAP R/3, l'ERP).
