LaTeX était LE format préféré il y a quelques années. En tant que scientifique, je peux le dire avec regret, maintenant, il y a autant d'acceptation de Word que de LaTeX. Implicitement, Word est même plus conseillé (soit vous utilisez LaTeX et on vous donne 5-10 pages de contraintes, soit vous utilisez Word et vous utilisez le template).
C'est exactement ce que j'ai eu. devfs n'est pas en tort, mais les modules ne pouvaient pas être chargés vu que module.conf était trashé.
En fait modules.conf contenait des caractères variés et l'ensemble des commandes que j'avais tapé en mode rescue, comme un historique de bash ou un fichier log.
Merci de me confirmer que je ne suis pas eul dans le cas.
Je pense que le problème dans mon cas doit venir des mises à jour de sécurité récentes, l'une pour devfsd, l'autre pour les drakxtools (dont l'un pour draksec) que j'ai réalisé hier. Donc, attention si vous pensez les installer...
Une réinstallation, ça n'est pas grave, si on a des partitions bien séparées (*). Mais ça devient pénible si c'est toutes les 3 semaines :-)

C'est joli, mais c'est complètement faux - en plus d'être limite insultant. Une voiture peut tout à fait tomber en rade parce que le garagiste l'a détraqué (c'est arrvé à des gens que je connais), ou il y a des clous sur la route, que l'essence est de mauvaise qualité ou par la faute à pas de chance.
Je n'ai rien fait d'extraordinaire sur cette machine lors des dernières sessions, si ce n'est taper un texte sous LyX, jouer à HeroesIII et installer via rpmdrake les mises à jour de sécurité officielles. Sachant que les deux premiers se sont fait loggué comme utilisateur, je ne vois pas comment j'aurai pû effacer le fichier shadow.
J'utilise mandrake depuis la 7.0, et la 9.1 me frustre comme seule une 8.x, je ne sais plus laquelle, la .1je crois, l'avait fait avant.
bon , je suis en train de comprendre... il n'y avait plus de fichier shadow sur ma machine... juste le backup. ça explique le pourquoi du refus de login. ça n'explique pas pourquoi il n'y avait plus de fihier shadow sur la machine par contre...
et surtout, ça n'explique pas les problèmes survenus après l'utilisation du mode rescue avec devfs.
Ma mandrake 9.0 fonctionnait sans problème.
Ma Mandrake 9.1 est gravement merdeuse. Aujourd'hui, elle a décidé de ne plus accepter mes mots de passe. J'ai essayé de les effacer dans le fichier shadow, mais au démarrage suivant, c'est devfsd qui a fait des siennes, ne détectant plus mes partitions. C'était déjà arrivé il y a 3 semaines. J'ai de jolis [FAILED] rouges partout maintenant, et le boot ne va pas très loin :-)
ça va, j'ai mon après midi de libre pour réinstaller (c'est encore plus rapide que de chercher d'où vient le problème, non?). Mais si dans 3 semaines, ça le refait, je tente la redhat ou je reviens en 9.0.
Tiens, au fait, hier, je venais d'installer les udpates de sécurité... peut-être la raison du problème?
la GPL t'autorise a demander une rétribution pour la fourniture des sources, dont le montant correspond à tes frais:

Mais cette astuce n'en est pas une. IE Win32 (*) ne peut gérer que la transparence binaire indexée. Or la vraie transparence, c'est pas un effet binaire: Un trou dans le mur n'est pas transparent. Une vitre, qui absorbe un peu de lumière est transparente. Un écran monochrome noir/vert n'est pas un écran couleur sous prétexte qu'il peut afficher du vert ;)
Le seul truc, d'ailleurs officiel pour la transparence sur IE Win32 consiste en l'ajout d'une tonne de code ignoble. Non merci. IE Win32 a un bug, à ses programmeurs de le corriger, pas aux développeurs web.
(*) IE pour Mac gère très bien la transparence, et ce fût même le premier a le faire. Heureux les uitilisateurs de Mac!
Tout à fait... J'attends avec impatience une version de Konqueror qui respecte le standard XDND... le bug est ouvert depuis 1 an et demi, il serait temps qu'ils le corrige, non?

ça serait possible un screenshot avec le curseur? Parce qu'il paraît que RedHat a mis de très jolis curseurs avec ombres/animations/couleurs (Xcursor), je voudrait voir ;)
Ces curseurs sont très facile à installer. KDE-look en propose déjà quelques uns. C'est vraiment chouette Xcursor
